Hi! I'm an Opera browser user. Opera uses
    Powered by: vBulletin Version 2.3.0

    Please see this thread: http://my.opera.com/forums/showthrea...threadid=49712

I was wondering if the later vbulletin versions will not have the squares when we type more than 13-15 chinese characters in a single line.

The squares also appear when we type more than 13-15 chinese characters in the thread title.

Does it have to do with utf-8 encoding/unicode?

You may not see the squares in that thread because it has been edited by me,.. but i've got to edit more than 80% of the threads to unveil the characters behind the squares. So that's very time consuming for me,.. a Chinese moderator.
