  • can vBulletin help me?

i am looking for a community script which would contain the following:

    *Forum - the whole deal:
    -user profiles

    *Downloads section
    -Uploadable by all
    -Sorted/Approved by admins
    -rated by all

    *Picture Galleries
    -Layout/sorting by admins
    -upload by all.

    *Article Database
    -Articles submitable by all
    -Approved/sorted by administrators/mods

    *Full featured blog
    -for all users

    *Events Calendar

so far i have lertaned that postnuke or equivalnent is what i should look for. but there i would have to install the CMS backbone and then hunt down the appropriate modules, install them spereately and mainatin upgrades etc.
i would much rathere have one package that i could install, configure once, and then just maintain without seperate module serach/installation/troubleshoot/maintain.

is Vbulletin the solution ive been looking for?

it would be if vB would come out with a CMS. you might want to look to vbindex, vbadvanced, or vbportal, all are separate portal type hacks which should cover you.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
