IPB 1.1.2 to vB3 conversion?

I have a Invision Power Board forum running on 1.1.2 and would like to make the move to vBulletin v3. My IPB board is pretty active (some 800 members and over 15,000 posts including many messages with file attachments/photos).

Is there currently an importer that can properly handle the thread file attachments, avatars and PMs? (I did a search and found several people importing from IPB but running into less-than-perfect conversion.)

I'm not going to buy vBulletin if those attachments won't be included in the threads once the conversion happens. My paid subscribers need those images and files.

Suggestions or comments?

Your best bet is to wait until the vB3 import scripts are released sometime during this coming week. This will be the latest and greatest version of the import script for IPB.
