  • Vbulletin Change Log Errors

    Maybe im the only one thats noticed this. But in the changelog page

    http://www.vbulletin.com/members/changelog.html

    The updates to the topics relating to the fixes in each version. The urls are wrong example

    http://www.vbulletin.com/members/showthread.php?t=69077

    Should be

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69077

    Just thought whoever governs that changelog, if they would please edit the links, or actually they could just make a .htaccess file to redir the headers or use a php file to do the same thing

    I doubt someone at vbulletin will actually use this but it would save u time..just upload this as showthread.php in the /members/ dir..lol This pretty much uses all ways to redirect to the real page, if not displays hard link.

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    //--------------------------
    // Vbulletin Forum Redirect
    // Filename: showthread.php
    //--------------------------
    // Compatability (globals)
    $t $_GET['t'];
    // Look for empty Variable
    if ( empty($_GET['t']) == false )
    {

    // Build URL String

    $url "[url="http://vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=$t"]http://vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=$t[/url]";
     // Lets Try PHP Header Redirect First

    header("Location: $url");

    // Just incase that doesnt work, JSCRIPT

    echo "<script type=\"text/javascript\" language=\"javascript\">window.location='$url';</script>";

    // Lets Try META Tag Rrefresh Last Resort

    echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0 url=$url/\">";

    // Bottom of the barrel

    echo "Please visit this <a href=\"$url\">$url</a> for correct page. Thanks";
    }
    ?>

        Right now we're redoing some of the backend code for the members' area, so we'll make sure this change gets included with the new version.
