No problem. Let me know if you would like me to forward you the original PM.

LOL he calls it 'vbulliten' throughout the PM. He also doesn't ask for the license number, but the password. He's obviously never had a license or got a license 'username' or anything because then he'd know that it's a number

Is this related to the DOS attack *attempt* earlier or just coincidence??

He actually sent that PM before he was banned.

I banned him a few minutes after I got notification.

Thanks guys - it just seemed like I read the PM very shortly after he sent it. Good work on the swift banning!

I also dropped an email off to his ISP as well.

Maybe only allow licensed users to PM and send emails?

That's not a bad idea but some people negotiate purchasing vBulletin licenses from licensed members over PMs...

But the send emails part is probably agreeable but I doubt it will happen.

I dont necessarily like this idea. I for one talked to several staff and posters here at vBulletin via PM regarding vB and the purchasing of it before I purchased it. I mean if someone is pretending to be a fake employee or if you dont know if they are an actual employess, then all you need to do is forward that PM to a member of the vBulletin support staff. There is no real reason not to allow unlicensed users to post.
