  • The vbulletin.com forums are currently unavailable...

Just wanted to let you know that the forums tab (navbar) links to https://forum.vbulletin.com, and this is what I get:

Name:	vb.jpg
Views:	334
Size:	49.6 KB
ID:	4443644

The correct link seems to be https://forum.vbulletin.com/forum

Can't replicate this. https://forum.vbulletin.com/ is a valid link.

    Try clearing your browser cache.

That did the trick, thanks. Still wondering what might have caused this...

The forums were probably turned off for some maintenance being undertaken by the datacenter. A matter of timing means the second URL worked because the forums were turned back on. It happens. Both URLS are actually valid. /forum/ just takes you to the forum channel and not the home page.

It is happening to me as well and figured out it is the cache memory on the computer.

Whether the site is online or not at any particular time is up to the datacenter. Technical Support is not notified if there is any downtime. If I see the site down, I make an inquiry and get an answer about an hour later.

What I'm trying to say is for the last few days I thought the VB site was down. The quick link I use to access the site on Firefox points directly to the "New Topics" link (https://forum.vbulletin.com/search?s...ssage%22%5D%7D). It wasn't until I tried the main forum URL https://forum.vbulletin.com that I realised the site was still up.
Having said that until I cleared my cookies clicking on the new topics link would still direct me to the site is down message.

I just noticed you have 5.6.3 RC1 installed maybe that triggered it? anyway I thought I'd let you know.
