  • Vbulletin support service feedback: REALLY BAD!

Here's some discussions I started up on this very forum during the last year:

    No reply…AT ALL! (But I'm still hoping…)

Plus, yesterday I started a topic in the wrong section (my mistake, sorry…) and it got deleted instead of moved and nobody even warned me!

So, here's above is what I got and here's what I bought:

Definitely worth 195$ I'd say… For sure my forum was already closed if I kept ignoring my users…

If you don't get a response in the forums you should open a support ticket.

Like the one above me said you should open support ticket, the forum help is provided when staff members have time or when a person that uses vBulletin can try to assist you. When you bought vBulletin you had 30 day ticket support if you bought the suite you have extended ticket support for longer period of time. Ticket support is relative fast to get answers from vBulletin and they never let me down even if it was my own fault they gave advice where to look (think 3th party add-ons).

What does that mean I had 30 day ticket support? Now that I'm out of the 30 days how can I open a ticket?

If you don't have bought the suite your support was only the first 30 days so you can't open a ticket I guess.
So you've saved money at the wrong end if you need a lot of support.

I see replies on several of your post...
Have you tried searching for your answers?

Then you should not say to people that they'll get support anyway from the forum because that's not true. You should say: "sometimes you can get help from the support forum IF the members have time".

I see replies in some of them but I don't see any reply to my last question in any of them.

You can ask: "can I do this stuff?"
And they'll reply "yes you can!"
                    Then you ask "good, how?"
And nobody replies anymore… You have replies but you don't have your problem solved.

I've never had a problem getting forum support.
Maybe it's the way you go about it and the fact that you haven't tried to search for the answer yourself?

Try this in Google "Your title/subject, vBulletin.com"
                        without the quotes

I see a big green check mark by the "forum support" entry…

Most of your questions are customization stuff, not all of them mind you. But we do not offically provide support for customizations of anything. If you want help with modifications to the software vBulletin.org would be a better place to spend your time.
