Was your signature blank when you try to edit it or not? If so it was probably deleted. If not there is a bug relating to sporadic disappearance of signatures.

You might have signatures turned off. Check your User Settings > Account > Visible Post Elements . I see your signature just fine, btw. There was a bug in 5.0.0 that would make the signatures randomly disappear (after every other edit), but I thought it was fixed.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

        The bug is still there.
Post something: your signature is there.
Check the forum later: signature disappeared from all your posts.

        (ATM I cannot see yours)

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

I have noticed and commented a number of times on this very same issue in the past. Quite random.

In Firefox (current version) my signature is blank when I try to edit it even though I have a signature displayed on the forum.

Another bug appears to be that you cannot delete your signature because the signature function will not allow you save nothing which includes the space bar character ASCII #32 i.e. you must save something.

[EDIT] And yet another bug... editing a post causes your IMG tag displayed attachments to become surrounded by ATTACH tags. Why would you want to do that? Seriously, using vBulletin 5 is comparable to mowing the lawn with a pair scissors, painful, slow and ultimately, completely futile.

          Test below this line, ignore...

Interesting that none of those attachments work for me, also if I click the attachment link then "back" I don't go back to the post I was looking at, I go to the first page... such a fail, but typical vBulletin these days.

I can can confirm that. Navigating back one click from a viewed attachment takes you back two clicks.

          More bugs...

Suddenly, as if by magic, my avatar has disappeared from the upper navbar area but remains intact everywhere else...

And surely this thread should mark as read for me as I'm the last poster?

It was clear when I went to edit it.
I had no message that my sig (which hasn't changed in months) was breaking the rules.

            I have them turned on.

I added the 3 lines you see in it now after I noticed it was cleared out.

*edit* well... it was there a few mins ago but now it's gone..

            yup, it's been removed!!!

Is this just some random bug or is it being removed by staff.
it would be GREAT if it was removed by staff if we're told why it's being removed.

I suspect it's a bug though since my sig broke no rules at all..
In fact, I see VERY FEW if any users with signatures. #features

*edit again* even after I add text in my sig it doesn't show up.
            How annoying....

Must resist in saying how awful this product is..

What is happening with this signature thing?

How was my signature not showing on this post until I replied, then it shows in all my post on this thread?

Has this been logged as a bug, and an annoying one at that?

Thanks, I voted for it even though I don't see how it can be broken... but I guess I'll just add it to the list

Also.. I checked as a guest and couldn't see my sig until I made this reply right here.
