    When trying to set my signature here on this forum, I get the following error;


    Error saving signature: An unexpected error was returned: ' Database error in vBulletin 5.0.0: Invalid SQL:

    UPDATE filedata SET refcount = (refcount - 1) WHERE filedataid IN (60043) /**decrementFiledataRefcount**/;
    MySQL Error : BIGINT UNSIGNED value is out of range in '(`vbcom_forum`.`filedata`.`refcount` - 1)'

    Did you try making a signature without the attachment reference? That looks like the issue.

      Only text in the signature, same error.

        Thank You, I've entered a bug report here- http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-8671 - I will keep an eye out if a solution is posted before the site upgrades to the next version.

          This has occurred elsewhere. It occurs when refcount isn't updated and then subsequently subtracted from. You can't put negative numbers in an unsigned integer.
