You might want to try a search on "temporary file"

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I can understand that the fonts on this forum are very small and difficult to see, but if you read my original post again you will find that I have mentioned that I was able to upload an avatar from my computer but not an URL.

I just wanted to inform this to the vb.com staff because this forum is a showpiece of the vbulletin software and a error such as this creates a bad impression.

We're looking in to it. Since the server upgrade we must have missed configuring the tmp directory properly.

What did you do to fix this?

As I noticed my forum has the same issue, when inserting images from URLs into posts.

Pretty sure this is a server issue rather than a vbulletin issue.

Its a php configuration issue - you need to correctly set the temp dir in php.ini.
