  • New Simple Dorky Quick Tips/Customize Tutorial

    Is their a place to put new simple tutorials here for members to view.

    I made some that are not hacks like the one I saw over at vbulletin.org.
    I was trying to figure out something for myself with a little help from others and created a tutorial.

    They would fit in this forum:
    vBulletin 3.5 'How Do I' Questions

      So, I guess adding to Quick Tips was not in the ball park?

        That forum wasn't added earlier today for 3.5, but if you want drop Steve a PM and let him review it. If he thinks it is ok he will surely move it for you.

          I think I go though support instead. I read his info from profile and it says not to. Thanks for the help.

            Can you add a screenshot to this:

            Also I'm unclear what the differences are between these. You should state up front what these do.

              I added the screen shot and place title plus test to see what if I just add edits to one and made only changes to Forum Listings Display Options
              and results did not work completly, so the edits for Forum index & ForumDisplay page have separate but almost simular edits.

              The Forum index edits shows subforums as a column with or without phrase Sub-Forums:

              The ForumDisplay edits is page below forumhome and shows subforums as a column with or without phrase Sub-Forums:

              This should be listed first
              Code:

              [URL="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=974037&postcount=17"]http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=974037&postcount=17[/URL]
              This should be listed after
              Code:

              [URL="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=973961&postcount=16"]http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=973961&postcount=16[/URL]

                I clean it up a bit more and made it more easier to understand the end results.

                  I've been swamped. I'll check this out when I have the chance. Thanks!

                    I was pointed out that I need to make some steps more clear and had Tag written wrong? I did rewrite and hope this is what Jo Box wants. X my fingers
