Third-party hosting is when you have a hosting company that hosts your site for you. There are hundreds on the internet, some good and some bad. I recommend you take a look at the vBulletin Hosting Options forum and WebHostingTalk for some ideas and testimonials regarding hosting companies.

I'm not sure. You're server needs at least PHP 4.0.6 and MySQL 3.23.33. You can test your server by downloading this PHP file, uploading it to your server, and going to it in your browser. This will tell you if your server can host vBulletin or not.

Well I use Telus, it is a free host that us Canadians get by using Telus with our internet connection so I'm not really sure how to do that. So then as it looks right now, I won't be able to get vBulletin to work will I?

well ive never seen an internet service provider that supply's free webspace with php & mysql.

I recommend you take a look at the vBulletin Hosting Options forum and WebHostingTalk for some ideas and testimonials regarding hosting companies.

that is what you sould do now . in short:
1.- Buy a webhosting package that supports php & mysql
2.- buy vbulletin
