Does adding a lot of blog categories drastically slow the blog down?

I just upgraded to the latest version of the blog and then added 41 blog categories with the intention of adding more.

Now my blog pages load very slow. Especially the category block. Is this due to the number of categories?

I buy 420 forums

I have never heard of this.

I have 26 blog categories and experience no problems at all. In terms of database query execution...it would be possible to query thousands of records in less than a second.

No...No...Meester vBulletin, he no work right.
