Whenever I click on a category that I've created it redirects me to a category called uncategorized. I just started using vblog. I set up two categories and I have three entries, 2 in one and 1 in the other. The entries show up in my blog and when you click the title it brings you to the full entry. The problem is when you click on a category where there's supposed to be the entries it shows up as empty. It says "Uncategorized Entries with no category". When I pass the cursor over the link for the category the URL seems fine, it's when I click it that it seems to redirect me to the uncategorized section.

I don't understand what you mean. You should provide a link and a better description.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Thanks for replying.
Please go to my blog http://forum.massivelinks.com/blogs/fabio/ and scroll down until you see the categories under Blog Categories. If you click the Massive Links Blog or Personal Development link you'll notice that it won't bring you to the entries that are in those categories but instead it'll forward you to the uncategorized category.

This is from an add-on you installed, possibly vBSEO. You will need to remove vBSEO and any other add-ons to troubleshoot this.
To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':
Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions
[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]
Next, disable all plugins.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.
