Uncategorized disappeared in menu Block

I was reading a forum post ealier that said you could change the "Uncategorized" cat in Blog by editing the blog_functions.php. Well I did that and now my Uncategorized is even gone. I have only posted one Blog as got software 1 hr ago.. ?? Anyhow what I want to do is change that Category to Lets say Review Linux... Since thats my site..

Anyhow now do not even have any category showing up..

Uncategorized shows up in blog but not on side menu

Thanks.. Found the Phrase editor... I then created a Blog category. Now what is the best scheme to follow. I just want to start with a webmaster blog and move to allowing users to have their own Blog Pages. So it it best to setup just one parent category "ReviewLinux.Com - Users" and have all users under that as well as webmaster?
