Partial Delete of Shoutbox
Hello all,
I was asked by my webhoster, HostGator, to remove my shoutbox:

Unfortunately, we were forced to suspend the script /home/madsci06/public_html/forums/shoutbox/shoutcache.php as it was causing high loading issues on the shared server. Due to this affecting all of the other accounts on the system, we were forced to take immediate action for the health of the server.
It appears that this script is an AJAX system and generally scripts of this nature make a lot of requests constantly. We recommend that you take steps to reduce the number of calls that this makes, such as increasing the time before refreshes, or making it so that the script only preforms an update after specific user actions. However, the original authors of the script might have more information on how to optimize this in such a fashion that it will not cause a load issue again. So, they say part of the drain was my Wordpress and the other part the shoutbox. It appears that the fine folks who created the shoutbox are no longer in business (the URL to their site is no longer active). In order to get access back to my site I removed the Plug-in for the shoutbox and part of it still remains. Just the hollow structure really. So, I went in and deleted all the files left over and still--there is something left.
I'm not a great programmer. I installed this shoutbox probably 6 years ago.
Now that it's deleted, I can't even give you the name of it, but it was something like Dion Shoutbox x2.1.
Any advice on how to approach this issue?
Should I upgrade vB? Install a new template?
I am currently running vBulletin version 3.8.2.m (duh-wrong place).
I apologize is this is posted in the wrong place.
And just so you have all the information, it appears 7 are out-of-date. Could any of them be the problem as well?
There are currently 7 customized template(s) that need to be updated or reverted. Some sections of vBulletin may not function if you do not do this!

I have fixed this error. Please delete this.
I deleted the code from the FORUM HOME and that did it.
