Replies appearing before original posts

OK, this one is a totally new one on us!

There are instances of a REPLY appearing in the thread before the original post. Which really doesn't make sense, because in order for the REPLY to have been created in the first place -- containing the answer to the question -- the original needed to be there.

We know that the first post showing is, in fact, the reply because our member communicated this to us.

Any idea what could be happening here?

Is it still happening? Looking at the times of the posts, it looks like maybe there was a glitch in the server time. Have you asked your host if they screwed up the server time yesterday for a bit? vBulletin gets it's time from the server, so if the time of the posts is off, it is because the server time is off (or a modification is messing with the times).
