Member login problem

Hi,

Ok here is new issue that i have detected lately since got huge message report from my forum members.

"Wrong username or password. You have used up your failed login quota! Please wait 15 minutes before trying again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password?"

Referring to the error above, all members including administrators cannot login and getting this error even they're entering correct password when using certain broadband IP provided by our ISP.

For your information, this IP is sharing with thousand of users everyday on the same time. I'm guessing maybe guess someone from this IP had forgot their password and keep entering incorrect password until he/she getting failed login quota. Finally vb script has automatically has banned all other users who are going to login from the same IP. Is this true? Or not? How to fix this?

In my experience I have never once seen that message when the correct username or password is used.

I have experienced it once while using within IP range of reported ISP. It is true. I can't logging in plus getting the error message. I'm login for everyday and never forget my password. But one day when using this ISP's broadband service i could not logging in but wierdly i can logn several hours later using the same shared IP.

Any possibilities?

The fifteen mintures has passed by now. If you are still getting that error then something else is wrong. Try running this query in phpMyAdmin:

DELETE FROM strikes
