  • Bots / Spiders safe?

On my site, i get alot of Yahoo! Slurp Spiders and alot of MSNBots. If i allow them, i get people all around the world registering and i get alot of people wanting to post porn and viagra links etc. Is this good to ban these search engines?

My web site is a Northern Ontario trading post and i only allow new members from my region

The Yahoo and MSN bots index your forums so your forums appear in their search engines. They have nothing to do with spam registrations.
