I just had a new member sign up without receiving or replying to the Activate Membership email because they gave a false email address wich got bounced back to me yet they are logged in and running round the forum, how is this possible?

Because of this I've just had a look at users awaiting email conformation and see there are users I have seen logged in on several occasions that have not confirmed the email. -
After checking the settings it looks like new members are able to login but not post even if they have not confirmed the email. Is there a way to stop un-verified members from logging in?Comment

So I believe this is something other than user error. I have dealt personally with several of the users being effected and they have checked everything on their side several times.
