    How to put HTML into a post?

    I set the administrator group to allow html, I want to use <embed>X VIDEO</embed>

    I tried:

    <html>
    <embed>X VIDEO</embed>
    </html>

    I'm not sure what else I need to do.

    There is no option to allow HTML posting by usergroup in the default vB. Are you sure you don't mean the HTML BB Code?

      Sure, html bb code, I want to be able to place html code to be executed when I post it.

      Is this possible?

        No, that is not the same as posting in HTML. Doing that requires enabling HTML in the forum manager which will be a major securty issue. For that reason we cannot recommend doing this for open forums.
