    OK:

AdminCP >> Forums & Moderation >> Show ALL Moderators

Then, you have to click EDIT after EACH forum if I understand this correctly....

This really is a poor way to do this! Why not make these settings part of the normal usergroup?
Because currently moderator permissions are seperate from usergroups. Generally it works better this way overall. If you have a moderator you want to edit all of the forums they should be a super moderator.

You can build queries to mass update those moderator permissions. For example, my post in this thread has queries for the social group permissions:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=268941

To fashion new queries you can refer to the includes/xml/bitfield_vbulletin.xml file:

    Code:
    			<group name="moderatorpermissions2">
    				<bitfield name="caneditvisitormessages" default="1">1</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="candeletevisitormessages" default="1">2</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canremovevisitormessages" >4</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canmoderatevisitormessages" default="1">8</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="caneditalbumpicture" >16</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="candeletealbumpicture" >32</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="caneditsocialgroups" >64</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="candeletesocialgroups" >128</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="caneditgroupmessages" default="1">256</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="candeletegroupmessages" default="1">512</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canremovegroupmessages" >1024</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canmoderategroupmessages" default="1">2048</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canmoderatepicturecomments" default="1">4096</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="candeletepicturecomments" default="1">8192</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canremovepicturecomments" >16384</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="caneditpicturecomments" default="1">32768</bitfield>
    				<bitfield name="canmoderatepictures" default="1">65536</bitfield>
    			</group>
Use the appropriate numbers in those queries from the other thread. They are all the same. Only the numbers differ.

started a topic Any quick ways to edit all moderator permissions?

Any quick ways to edit all moderator permissions?

I've installed 3.7.3 PL1 about 1,5 weeks ago and today I noticed a thing that I don't like. Every moderator is able to edit and delete everyone's Visitor Messages, Social Group Messages and User Album messages. And I don't want this...

So I investigated why this is possible and it turns out it's because those settings are enabled by default for every moderator in the Moderator Permissions.

I have many moderators in many different sections, and I would have to disable this right for every mod and section one by one. This would take very long time..

Is there some better way to do this? So I can change the settings for every moderator at once?

I am talking about these settings:

    Visitor Message Permissions

    Can Edit Posts
    Can Delete Posts

    Social Groups Permissions

    Can Edit Social Groups
    Can Delete Social Groups
    Can Edit Posts
    Can Delete Posts

    User Album Permissions

    Can Edit Picture Comments
    Can Delete Picture Comments
They are all set to "yes" by default but I want them "no" for every moderator.
