  • Easy way to give a single user "admin" rights to a single forum?

I'd like to create a number of forums that individual users on the forum can "admin" themselves. Really just creating sticky threads, closing threads, and the like. I've looked around and it seems difficult to do on a large scale with vBulletin. It appears that I'd need to create a group for each instance of this, and adjust the permissions accordingly. Is there an easier way to do this?

It may be possible with Forum and Usergroup permissions. There is no function that will make then 'admins' for a forum though.

It would be nice to have user level ways to do this, instead of only being able to do it at the group level.

Is there an option anywhere to submit this as a feature request? I looked into the bug tracker as a potential option, but the only type available was bug, and this obviously is not a bug.

You mean something like a forum named 'Suggestions and Feedback?

I was thinking of a slightly more formal process than just creating a thread that will likely be lost. But yeah, thanks for your kind approach to a paying customer, appreciated greatly.

That is the formal process for making suggestions.
