  • Problem with New User Group

    I started a User Group for people that contributed to my site.

    One of the individuals in the UserGroup wrote me the following message; it describes what he sees, and how he finally manages to circumvent the message. How can I get rid of this message so my members can maneuver without this issue?
    When I log on to the site, it normally goes to the list of forums. For the last several days, I get a message that I am not authorized to access the page I am directed to:

    You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
    Log Out Home

    If I click on the Forum tab, I go to the forum list and all is well from there on. Again, this is not a problem for me and requires no action. I just thought I would report the irregularity for your info.

    It sounds like he doesn't have permission to view your portal page:

    http://www.rowdybikerbar2.com/

    That is probably a vBAdvanced permission. You should ask their support:

    http://www.vbadvanced.com/

      I just went into all my forum permissions and made sure they had all the same options as other members.
