Question about tools-php

Do I upload tools-php to my host or do I delete it off my computer before I upload? Do I upload it then delete it?

Slappy is right.

If I recall correctly, it shouldn't let you in the ACP if tools.php remains in the directory.

Delete it as soon as you are done with it.

Its in the "do not upload" folder because you are NOT supposed to upload it to your server unless/until you happen to need to use one of its functions. Normally, it would remain on your "local machine" until such event it is needed to fix a problem on your server. THEN you upload the tools.php script in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory and run it from your browser:

http//www.yourforum.com/admincp/tools.php

After you use tools.php you should always DELETE it from you adminCP folder!
