Hyperlink problem
Sometimes when a user posts a hyperlink, when you go to click on the link, it shows a 403 error. Any ideas? It has happened in firefox and IE7.Tags: None

I meant the actual post. However private forums are not accessible to people without permissions. And that link has a redirect command in it so it's not a clean link.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Well, I used the hyperlink function to insert hyperlink into text so that link is what the vb script produced.

Again you have not provided the URL to this post. Also there is absolutely nothing in the default vB code that adds a Google redirect to URL. This is from a modification you made.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Sorry, here it is:

I just was thinking...I put in a bbcode that does a google search when you wrap it around the search term. Could this be messing it up?

You do not allow guests to view that page.
Note: You are running VBSEO which is a third-party add-on which make some substantial changes to vB. We cannot provide support for forums running vBSEO when the same problem does not occur with the default vB code. To get official support you will need to remove or disable this add-on, including the changes it made to .htaccess.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

I just figured it out. It was a vbseo setting. Sorry and thank you very much for your time.

An explanation on how to create private forums would be appreciated.
Thank You.-
