  • Problem after upgrading in admin cp

    Hi

Last night I upgraded to 3.7.3 from 3.6.8. It all seemed to go well (after I upgraded to Blog 1.0.5 ) but there are some problems with the admincp.

I get a 404 'page cannot be found' for some menu items, specifically:
    In the Moderation menu
    Moderate threads
    Moderate posts
    Moderate attachments
    Moderate events
    Moderate visitor messages

(oddly, the moderate users is okay)

    Also
    in the Attachments menu
    Moderate attachments

    in the User menu
    Ban users
    View banned users

Everything else is fine...I guess there is a file or files missing but where do I start looking?

    Thanks
    Kate

Run 'Suspect File Version' in Diagnostics and report back the results.

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

Do any show as 'File does not contain expected contents', 'version mismatch' or missing? If so, you need to reupload the original vB non-image files. Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

Thanks Steve - that was quick

I should have said that I did that and everything is fine...

      Cheers

This may be due to mod_security. Please see this thread for the fix:

Thanks again...I don't have that mod loaded but your post prompted me to check that I'd renamed the modcp folder to match my config.php

Sorry to have wasted your time...

          Cheers

            That would do it too.
