Regarding post moderation..

Is it ever going to be or is it now (and im not sure how to) have it where other than having the user as a supermod or admin bypass thread/post moderation?

I would think a regular MOD should be able to not have posts placed in the moderation panel...

Not sure why this featuer has always been so one way or the other..maybe that should be discuss as a feature addition. Like i said maybe its already setup somewhere and im not seeing it or unsure how to set it up correctly.

I mean itd almost be nice to have it also just select the user and have them specifically be allowed to not have posts moderated

You can set that for individual groups:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Follow Forum Moderation Rules

Or for individual groups in specific forums:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions -> [Edit] -> Follow Forum Moderation Rules

That's exactly my point.. if you set it to NO, all the users post need modded whether its forum specific or not (if you have moderate threads on for a specific forum). Im just not sure why it's never been setup where you can just manually select a specific user and let him not be moderated without having to be a super mod or admin

It sounds like you are talking about this:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Moderate Posts / Threads / Attachments

That will affect the entire forum which is different than this which affects a specific group in that forum:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions -> [Edit] -> Follow Forum Moderation Rules

There is no option to moderate an individual user independent of their group.
