Paypal Paid Subscriptions

I was reviewing the manual and see that PayPal has a limit of 100 days for recurring subscriptions. So does this mean that a user will have to renew their subscription every 100 days?

I would like to have the subscriptions setup only through paypal on a setting of $10 for 1 year and $18 for 2 years. Is this possible to do with paypal?

Do not set a Paypal subscription to greater than 100 days. Use the months or years options to set subscriptions greater than 100 days.

Yes, you can do that. Use the Months or Years settings though.

and after one or two years each member will get an email or something to renew their subscription? Is this from vbulletin or paypal? and it's automatic right?

It's automatic, and the member will automatically be re-charged for the subscription at renewal time. They get an e-mail with that information.

sorry for the noob questions but after the subscription is up, it will automatically withdrawl the subscription amount out of their paypal account?

Yes, I believe so.

This is the phrase that is used in the e-mail sent to users with a recurring subscription about to expire:

Dear $username,

Your access to the paid subscription "$subscription_title" is about to expire.

If you have selected a recurring subscription you will be automatically billed for the renewal, else to renew this subscription you must visit $vboptions[bburl]/payments.php

If you do not extend your subscription, access will be removed.

You can see that it says that it will be automatically billed.
