Members getting logged out!

Several of my members are getting logged out unintentionally.

My site is 3.7.2 The members involved have varying connects and ISP accounts. Cookies have been cleared but the problem persists.

Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do about it?

Tell them to click on the 'Remember me' box when they login. This will keep them logged in as long as they are not blocking cookies, assuming of course you have no modifications that broke this.

Then they are either blocking cookies or you made a modification that broke this.

These are long term members and are not blocking cookies. Some modifications yes.

Tnis does work as designed with th default vB code.

Try logging in as one of these users to see if you have the same problem. If you don't, then the cause is somewhere on their end. It's impossible to know exactly what it is but some possibilities are: browsers, browser settings, Internet and security settings, ISP and/or cache issues, firewalls, ad-blockers, spyware, proxies and any other application that affects Internet content.

If you do have the same problem then a modification you made is causing this. Did you change the cookie domain or path from the defaults?

I have had the problem. Clearing cookies solved it, but not for some. Now, to say it is a problem at their end would be spooky, as all these problems have happened over the last two or three days to all of them, totally about 4 in number, including me.
