Proxy Server Error?

At random times I get this warning instead of going to the link I clicked on from my forum.

Proxy Server
The proxy server received an invalid response from the upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request from GET http://my forum address

Reason: error reading from remote server.

I'm not a 'puter expert so - is this my server that has an issue or a setting issue?

That is either a problem at your web host or it is a problem with your internet connection. Try contacting your web host first.
