  • Change of new user notification e-mail subject

    Am starting to filter these through my Gmail, but as Gmail tends to group them into one e-mail I would prefer to distinguish each one separately if possible.

    Is it possible to add something like the new user's username to the subject field of the e-mail?

      By default the new user notification e-mail comes through with the subject line:
      New user at {forumname}

      Can you change it to something like:
      New user at {forumname} - {newuser's username}

      Changing the subject line to put a unique value in it would be helpful. Ideally it would be the new user's username, but something like the date could also be workable.

      Many thanks for looking at this.

        I don't know if this will work but try editing the newuser phrase from this:

        New User at $vboptions[bbtitle]

        To this:

        New User at $vboptions[bbtitle] - $username
