Differnt prefixes on different forums - will that cause problems? Max number allowed?

Is there anything I need to know before I start to create different prefixes on different sub forums?

Is there a maximum number of prefixes allowed per sub forum?

Anything I need to watch out for / bear in mind with prefixes?

Will ALL the various forums sub forum prefixes be 'searchable' in the advanced search page?

Will searching a pre fix name shared by multiple forums - show results from all those forums? Or do they all have to use the exact same prefix set for that sort of search result to work?

    Many thanks,

There is no maximum number of prefixes that I am aware of.

All prefixes are listed on the Advanced Search page for searching.

Each prefix set is distinct from the others. So if two sets have the prefix "cars" then it would be two different searches. You should only create a prefix set and its prefixes once and assign it to multiple forums to ease searching.
