Users banned before an import?

Hello all.. I have another question.

As I stated in an earlier post, I am getting ready to import a SMF database into a new VB installation. Which rasies another question.

In my current forum (SMF) we have several banned members. Will these members still be banned after they're imported? Reason I ask is because I know after import everyone is in the Imported UG, and then Registered after that UG is removed.

Are these individual members still banned, or do they HAVE to all be moved to a UG marked as "Banned UG"

By default all imported usergoups are banned. After the import you need to follow the 'After the Import' instructions here:

Yeah I understand that aspect of it =)

The question is will SINGLE users that were banned on my previous forum still be banned after the import / change over to the registered usergroup.

My biggest concern is.. my forum has probably 20 banned users now. Will each one of those users have to be banned again after the import, or will they still be banned as they were before? (reguardless of what UG they're in.. OR do they HAVE to be put into a banned group)

Were your users in a specific banned usergroup? If so did they get imported into the new usergroup?
