Xcache and profiles issue

I recently installed xcache and noticed that when attempting to view profiles with visitor messages I will get this error message:

Fatal error: Direct instantiation of vB_Visitor_Message class prohibited. Use the vB_Visitor_MessageFactory class. in [path]/includes/class_visitormessage.php on line 221

This has happened a few times now, once after I first installed xcache and restarted apache and then once after an apache restart a minute ago. Having apache go through another restart cycle seems to clear up the problem.
