    Can't login as Admin on localhost

    Hello !

    I was trying to duplicate my website on localhost, so that i can test things before putting them online. Everything works great as i can see the website and even login (i've changed everything i found from www.mywebsite.com to "localhost", except if i try to login in Administration Control Panel... it keeps returning me to the login window.

    How can i fix this ?
    Thx in advance !

    P.S. Don't know if this helps, but after entering username/pass in login input and press Log in, i am returned to the same login window, and the link become something like
    http: // localhost / forum / admincp / index.php?&&&&s = 320d6866c368cbc7d9d96921208ae03b&
    Sorry for the extra spaces, but the quote block doesn't accept the original link.

    I'm not too sure on this, but have you set the cookie to be the new directory on the duplicate?

      I just removed the cookie, and i get the same problem... can't login. I even tried upgrading vBulletin... doesn't help.

        I just realised I gave some dumb advice, I was talking about the cookie options in the admincp, but you can't access the admin cp lol.

        The only other I can suggest is trying a different browser. Eg. try Firefox if you usually use IE or vice versa.

            hmmm I'm stumped on this one, I'm running out of ideas. ths might be a long shot but you could try chaning the name of the admincp directory.

            Make sure you update the config.php accordingly
