    Email Manager Question

I have a question about the email manager in the admin area.

If I use it to send out an email to my entire user base (which is about 10,000) I'd want to not overload my server. To that end I was going to break it down into batches of email.

My question is this. is there any kind of delay between batches? If I tell it to send in batches of 250 and there's no delay between batches, wouldnt' that be the same as just sending them all at once?

I can't see any info in here about delays inbetween batches. Thanks.

There is only the generic setting here:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Email Options -> Use Mailqueue System -> Yes

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

What's the difference between "Yes", and "Yes with locking" then?

        From the description:

If you have a large site, you may wish to enable locking. This prevents a rare situation where the same email is sent multiple times.

Yeah, I read that, but I wasn't sure what it meant, to be honest.
