Signatures and the unregistered/not logged in group

I want to set it so that members have to be logged into to forum to view members signatures. I tried setting "Can Have Signature" in the Unregistered group to "No", but that doesn't disable it.

Is this possible for me to do (preferably without having to install a mod) and if so, how?

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.
