    Who's online feature

We would like to give permission to who's online to only certain members. So, we have a primary user group for "member". We made the primary group not have the permission, and set up a additional user group, and gave the permission to that user group. Under the users profile, the primary group is "member" and we clicked under addtional usergroups "member2" so they could have the who's online permssion. It's really strange, because it's working for some, but not others. What can I check to see why it's working for some and not others?

    Thanks!
    Have a great day!

Please wait at least 12 hours before bumping your posts.

      From the forum rules:

Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.
      Check the overall Usergroup permissions:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup

And the Forum permissions for each forum and Usergroup:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions

Main Usergroup Permissions take precedence unless you override them with specific Forum/Usergroup permissions.

When multiple usergroups are involved, a 'Yes' permission always overides a 'No' permission if 'Allow Users to have Member Groups ' is set to 'Yes' for the Primary group. Same goes for a larger quota.

Note, the primary group must have 'Allow Users to have Member Groups' to 'Yes'. Otherwise the secondary settings are not applicable.
