We currently noticed on the 3.7.2 after the upgrade that we no longer have a IP ban ability. Also when we go to ban it takes us to the infract area and will not allow use to use the ban option. We've had to create custom Infractions for bans now. Any help with this will be much appreaciated!!

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Banning Options -> Banned IP Addresses
If this option is missing then you should try reimporting the settings. First upload the original install/vbulletin-settings.xml file from the zip file. Then go into the do_not_upload folder in the zip file. Upload the tools.php file to the install directory on your server. Run the tools.php file in your browser and select the option to reimport the settings. Delete the tools file when you are done. -
Thats there yes but what I'm saying is I can't ban from the forum Infraction set up. It will show the infraction area and ban area but wont allow me to use the ban feature.Comment

Is it giving an error message?
Infraction bans come about as a function of infraction points. When a user gets enough infractions they get banned. You can setup automatic bans for X number of infraction points in your Admin CP.
If you want to arbitrarily ban some one then you can do so in the Admin CP or Mod CP. Make sure you have banning permissions:
