    Getting a message (in my email) saying I have the following error

    mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
    /home2/thesacks/public_html/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 311

    That was emailed to me 7 times today (my forums are closed as of now)

    Basically the server you are hosting on has reached the limit for MySQL connections and hence it is displaying the error. Speak to your host, but usually the problem fixes itself within a few seconds sometimes minutes but it is only a minor issue and not one you should be concerned about.

    Hope that helps.
