Can't view one personas album

One of my forum members has made an album with three pictures inside that no one can see. I can't see his album as the Admin and he can't see it as the owner of the album. When you click on his album you're taken to your own album instead.

I'm not sure why this happens because other people's, including my own, seem to work fine.

Also, he wants me to delete his album so he can try making a new one but I can't see how to delete it?

Clicking his album takes you to your album? It sounds like you might have a problem with your unique indexes. We can look into this if you submit a trouble ticket with a URL and admin login to your forum and a URL and login to phpmyadmin:

It's not just my album, it takes you to whoever's album you're logged in as, unless you're the person in question whose album is broken where it takes you nowhere at all. If you're a guest it takes you to the login page.

I was hoping someone might have some ideas I could try myself? I will use support as a last resort but I don't learn anything that way, and I've always managed to figure stuff out on my own and with help form the forum so far over the last few years. Every little problem I've had has taught me a little bit more about how it all works.

Where is the link you are clicking? It sounds like you might be clicking a bad custom link that uses the userid of the logged in user or something.

There might be a customization that is causing this. You can quickly determine this by temporarily disabling your customizations. Try to reproduce it on a default style:

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> [Add New Style]

Create a new style with no parent. Then click that style's name in the Style Manager to view your forum with that style. If the problem goes away on the default style then you know it's a style problem at which point you need to systematically revert your custom templates to isolate the problem.

If you still have the problem then try disabling your plugins:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Plugin/Hook System

Also run a file check to look for customized files. Upload the original files if any problems are reported:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

There's no custom links involved, the link people are trying to click is in the album bit of the guy's profile page. Surely if it was a template problem it would affect everyone's album?

P.S. I saw just now that he has managed to make another album that works, but his first one doesn't. Is there a way to just delete the first one?

View the album and click the Edit Album link in the top right. The deletion option is there.

As the admin you should be able to view and edit all albums, assuming you have appropriate moderator permissions:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Show All Moderators -> [Edit Permissions]
