Change user title on joining public group automatically

Currently if a member joins a public usergroup they have the option to change their usertitle through the UserCP by clicking "identify me by this usergroup" once they have been accepted.

Is there a way to automatically change a users displayed title to that of the public usergroup automatically on sucessfull application to a public group ?

There is no method to do this at this time. You may be able to find an addon or request one at www.vbulletin.org that would fit your needs.
