No 'live' links on the welcome/activation email to new members

The emails to new members do not have the actual "live" links to activate their account....it has the URL string but it isn't live...If I cut and paste the link, it does work and activates their account. However, this would really be a hassle for members if they couldn't just click the link and have it automatically activated.

Does anyone know how to make these links 'live' on the welcome/verificatoin email? Is there something that i have to do in the VBulletin control panel?

We do not send out html emails, most email clients will make a full url clickable.
