Avatar Upload Fail Error

I recently started having problems with avatar uploading. The follow error is displayed when a valid avatar is attempted to be uploaded: Upload of file failed.

I checked chmod (thinking it was incorrect for the customavatar and custompicture folders) - it was set for 0755 - I changed it to 0777 but it didn't fix the problem.

Not sure what/when the problem began - I just received a pm from a user and I confirmed the problem.

Any thoughts or advise?

Enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled
