User Profile Field : How to disable ?

Is there a way to disable aparticular 'User Profile Field' (created by me) without actually deleting it. I just want to disable it and enable it after some time.

I don't see the option for that in

ACP > User Profile Field Manager

No sorry, there is no option to do that.
