Search - no matches found

I am running 3.7.2 and have the search set for a minimum word length of 3 letters. I have rebuilt the search index. When searching for a 3 letter word, such as ren I get no results found. If I search for ren* I receive results that include the term ren in thread titles and posts as well. Same for led and so on. 4 letter terms function properly.

I have checked every setting I can find and they all seems to be correct.

I have read about Fulltext searching in 3.6. I think I am not using Fulltext but am not sure how to find it, if it even pertains to 3.7.2.

Go to your
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Search Type

You can see what search method you're using there.

Fulltext search will not take the minimum word length into account, as this has it's own setting on the server level.

Got it. It was set to FullText. Thanks for the help.
