  • Memory error on upgrade

    I got the following error when trying to upgrade. How do I proceed ?

    Step 2) Import latest admin help

    Importing vbulletin-adminhelp.xml
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49411 bytes) in /home/mydomain/public_html/forum/includes/class_core.php on line 721

    Your PHP does not have enough memory allocated to it to complete this operation. Ask your host to increase the 'memory_limit' variable in php.ini to at least 32M.

    To temporarily up your limits edit your includes/config.php file and add these lines right under the <?php line:

    ini_set('memory_limit', 32 * 1024 * 1024);

      OK, and then do I reload that page / script ?

      It's already 3.7.2.

      Thanks!

        If you edited your config.php file correctly then you should not get that error anymore.
