invalid action on any moderation tools

    Hi,
I've updated my test forum to try out 3.7, we were currently running 3.5.

So everything seems to be working OK, but the moderation within the forum.
If I try and do any of the functions, it asks me to login again first to verify the function.

so I do, it says I've successfully logged in and then auto forwards to another page, that says 'Invalid Action Specified'.

I've tried disabling all my plugin's and it made no difference?

    Any ideas?

This has to be from a modification. Did you remove the files for your add-ons from the includes/xml directory? Did you reupload the original vB files?

At first I just disabled them, but now I've went in and deleted all the ones I recognized.

There are a few I don't know what they are, I'm thinking they are new for 3.7? Should I just delete everything?

When I upgraded, I uploaded everything in the upload folder (except the install.php)

      What else could I try?

        OK,
I've re uploaded everything that was in the 'upload' folder, and I still get this when I try and do any inline moderation.

What else can I try, to fix this?

To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

          Next, disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

          define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?
