    Downtownhost vBulletin Installation

I know this question has been asked many times before, but i cant find the answer for downtownhost !

I dont know the Master databae server name and port ?

I've made a Mysql dasebase on cPanel no problem, but cant seem to find the name of the database server and port, so i can edit the config.php....

I've sent a message to downtownhost asking for the info, but thought i'd try here as well..........(i'm just tooo impatient)

    Thanks

Chances are the server name and port are left as the default mysql port and the servername localhost.

      Dont think that worked.

On the install i've got the error message

"Error description: mysql_connect() ......................Access denied for user 'tackle_forum'@'localhost' (using password: YES) /home/tackle/public_html/forum/includes/class_core.php on line 311"

The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

      Any ideas ?

The most likely cause of this error is that the info in your config.php file is wrong or your db user does not have full permissions to this database. Please read this for all the known causes of this error:
